Business Development Representative Description:

We're on a mission to improve the quality of business data used by sales and marketing teams. Our core products Cognism Prospector and Cognism Refresh are the next generation of sales technology helping organisations find better audiences for their products and services than existing market solutions.
About the Job:
- Generate outbound meetings, through cold calling, networking and research.
- Engage customers and communicate the products to prospects.
- Generate sales pipeline, through outbound.
- Lead efforts in building processes, and procedures that are repeatable.
- Work with prospects to ensure meetings for BDMs are attended.
- Deliver marketing material and product insight to prospects.
- Establish a trusting relationship with key stakeholders.
- Report directly to the Sales Team Manager.
- Bachelor's degree
- Any experience in a Sales Role would be preferred (Retail, Account Management, Sales)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to simplify topics.
- Start-up mentality: self-starter, proactive, flexible.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to learn core technology tools.
- A passion for sales and building relationships.
Salary: £25,000 basic with £32,000 OTE
Location: Vauxhall, London
Cognism – SDR Team Lead (UK)
The SDR Team Lead (UK) is responsible for directing and managing the UK SDR team to deliver defined KPIs.
This is a critical role in the Cognism sales function and reports into the VP Sales.
- To achieve meetings booked & completed targets per day / week / month for the team
- To achieve qualified opportunities created per month targets
- To deliver a consistent flow of high quality opportunities to the Sales team
- To ensure that daily / weekly KPIs are up to date and available in reporting dashboards
- To ensure Salesforce is maintained on a daily basis by the SDR team
Team Leadership & Management:
- To collaborate with Sales & Marketing teams to support pipeline build and new business wins
- To proactively plan and manage the lead generation campaigns that the team will work on over the next 4 – 6 weeks
- To ensure that the SDR team are fully involved in event planning and event debriefs
- To actively mentor, develop and retain employees in the SDR team
- To actively help manage the quarterly Sales Camps in conjunction with VP Sales
- To ensure the SDR team have the right resources to achieve their KPIs
- To highlight, in a timely manner, recruitment needs for the SDR team
- To support the recruitment process for new SDR hires
- To manage the onboarding and training of new SDR hires
- To perform weekly 121s with individual SDR team members
- To highlight, in a timely manner, any individual performance issues
Review & Learning:
- To proactively share knowledge and best practices across teams and geographies
- To provide feedback to Product and Data teams to continually improve the Cognism platform
