It’s been a while since we last spoke, so it’s understandable if you’ve got some questions about where we’re taking the Cognism experience. We’ve been making massive shifts to our product strategy here at Cognism over the last two quarters, and this is just the beginning of what’s to come.

Data projects for Q4, 2025 and beyond

Heading into the new year, we’re committed to improving the accuracy of our demographic and firmographic data to provide our customers with whole, and consistently reliable contact and company profiles. In doing so, we’re investing in multiple areas of our data.

Demographic

Fresher data for target contacts

Our focus:

We’re enhancing the timeliness of job title data for professionals in UK, Germany, and France-based companies.

By implementing more frequent update processes, we’re aligning our new product and data strategy to deliver the most current information.

What’s in it for you:

Access to up-to-date demographic data on high-priority contacts. This improvement cascades into other areas, notably boosting email quality and overall data reliability.

Increased mobile coverage and quality for EU contacts

Our focus:

We’re expanding our network of mobile data providers and implementing robust verification processes for European contacts.

This initiative supports our new strategy and will lead to a significant increase in high-quality ‘Diamond’ contacts across Europe, starting this quarter and continuing into the next year.

Person cleanup (UK/FR/DE)

Our focus:

We’re conducting a comprehensive review of contact-company associations in the UK, France, and Germany.

This process will involve removing misattributed records, identifying and flagging incomplete or fraudulent profiles, and refining our contact de-duplication system.

Access to a refined, more accurate set of contact records for company profiles in our key European markets, enhancing the overall quality of your prospecting efforts.

Firmographic

Entity cleanup (UK/FR/DE)

Our focus:

We’re prioritising the enhancement of firmographic data quality in European markets, starting with the UK and expanding to France and Germany.

A key component of this initiative is our entity cleanup task, which aims to streamline our company database by eliminating duplicates, removing non-company entities, and consolidating subsidiary information.

Benefit from improved data consistency with a single, comprehensive company entry per domain in these markets.

Improving core firmographic data for public companies

Our focus:

While our primary focus this quarter is on European markets, we’re extending our data quality improvements to public companies across both US and European markets.

By leveraging our new data partner, Finnhub.io, we’ll refresh all core firmographic data, including company descriptions, locations, industries, revenue figures, and employee headcounts.

Improving core firmographic data for private companies

Our focus:

Over the next quarter, we’re dedicated to enhancing the quality of core firmographic data for private companies in the UK, Germany, and France.

Utilising our innovative AI-powered tool, Orion, alongside new data vendors, we aim to significantly improve key firmographic fields for companies with 50+ full-time employees in these markets.

What’s in it for you:

Benefit from enriched core firmographic data (including descriptions, locations, industries, revenue, and headcount) for private companies with 50+ employees in the UK, France, and Germany.

AI Search

The AI Search Feature introduces natural language search capabilities into Prospector’s search bar, allowing customers to search for the data they need more easily and intuitively.

Benefits:

  • Time-efficiency: Helps to find the information you need quickly.
  • User-friendly: Offers a more intuitive way for new users to familiarise themselves with the platform.
  • Multilingual: Supports multiple languages.
  • Voice prompts support: Speeds up the search process by enabling voice searches

List Indicator

Within Prospector, users can now see how many lists a contact has been added to and which lists they are a part of.

This helps users easily see if a contact has been previously actioned or not and greatly improves efficiency when identifying ideal contacts.

Integrations & Settings

Bullhorn

  • Bullhorn is the market leader in applicant tracking systems for recruitment companies. We spent just over two months beta-testing our integration to ensure it was as smooth as could be and released our integration to the market in Q2.
  • Customers with Bullhorn can integrate and export directly from Cognism (as long as they have the leads and opportunities add-on or are on Bullhorn’s Enterprise package), removing the need for manual exports and streamlining their operations.
  • The Bullhorn integration, like our other integrations, enables businesses to continue their workflows with ease and keep data flowing between platforms so it’s exactly where you need it, when you need it.

Re-designed Users & Teams:

Customers have been enjoying an enhanced user experience, a more organised page structure, clearer next steps, and much more! The main benefits include:

  • The introduction of sorting and filtering within tables, allowing users to exclude inactive users, for example.
  • The separation of the Users and Teams tabs for better visibility and management.
  • Clear visibility into pending invites, including the expired ones.

User Experience Tweaks

Some under-the-hood improvements have led to big wins in terms of everyday user experience, such as:

  • Updated Login Page: We’ve revamped the UI to make it more visually appealing and user-friendly, with effective label changes for a smoother login process
  • Sorting and Filtering in Pending Invites Modal: You can now easily organise and find specific invites based on their status, saving time and reducing hassle
  • Improvements to Internal App for Support Team: Streamlined processes will enable our Support team to assist you more effectively and efficiently
  • Additional Minor Updates: Various tweaks to enhance overall functionality and usability of the platform

Intent Surge Locations

This new functionality allows you to identify which office location (country) has shown the strongest interest in an Intent topic, enabling you to prospect more effectively by locations demonstrating genuine interest.

Our AI Search Bar has found its home in our Prospector. AI Search enables customers to reach their ideal target account or contact up to 3x faster than the average manual search.
